Andorra - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

Andorra is a tiny country between the borders of Spain and France, most popularly visited in the winter months for its cosy ski resorts and duty-free shopping. That’s not all this mountainous country has to offer, though. The summer months are ideal for exploring Andorra’s hiking trails, and there are plenty of gorgeous shrines and Romanesque churches to visit in each of Andorra’s villages. Andorra is the perfect location for a short, inexpensive holiday, no matter the season.

- Andorra’s main villages are accessible by public buses. This is a great option for travelling around the country, especially if you’re on a budget, but be aware of travel times and bus frequencies, which vary between 20 minutes and an hour.
- Be sure to check rates and coverage with your mobile carrier before a tour to Andorra, and keep in mind there is only one telecoms provider in the country: Andorra Telecom.
